In 1950, Tama Keiki Co., Ltd. was established and began manufacturing wristwatches.
The following year, in 1951, the company name was changed to Orient Watch Co.
Since then, the company has continued to attract many watch fans as an authentic mechanical watch brand.
In 2017, the company merged with Seiko Epson Corporation, with whom it had cooperated for more than 20 years to promote its business.
A new era of mechanical watches has dawned with the Orient Star brand and its sincere watchmaking attitude intact.
