This is the first appearance in Japan of a diver's watch popular overseas with the orca (Japanese name for killer whale) as its design motif. The streamlined case lines and plump hour and minute hands resemble the shape of orcas, the urethane band is designed to resemble the back of an orca as it rises to the surface, and the indexes at 12 o'clock and odd-numbered hours are inspired by the silhouette of an orca as it emerges from the water. The back of the watch features markings of a majestic orca swimming in the water. Winner of the Good Design Award 2022.

Photo-power generation "Eco-Drive" is Citizen's proprietary technology that converts sunlight or a small amount of indoor light into electricity to keep the watch running. Once fully charged, the watch continues to run for a long time even in the absence of light, eliminating the need for periodic battery replacement.
