It pays homage to the most popular Seiko 5 Sport models, the 6119-7170 and 6119-8300, which are nicknamed the Checkered Flag, extracting their coloring from the Seiko 5 Sport.

The checkered flag design on the bezel gives users a unique and attractive impression.

The back cover is engraved with "SPECIAL EDITION"

The day of the week can be switched between English and Japanese.
